Starting from the awareness that to achieve the goal of sustainable development of International Tourism it is first necessary to spread and deepen mutual knowledge between peoples and their territories, I have developed a presentation of Sicily through its relations with the Mediterranean area.
I believe that the proposed model can be adopted and replicated in various national and international realities. In the awareness that any monumental artistic elaborate, as well as any culinary art, is the result of the socio-political events that a specific territory has experienced in relation to the peoples who inhabited it, I think it is important that tourism is a tool to allow the traveller a conscious approach to making him grow in the knowledge of the other.
